Ancient time language

All European languages today are Indo-European with the exceptions of Basque.  Finnish and Hungarian, brought into Europe from Asia.  Indo European languages related to languages now spoken in India and Iran.

2009

Can't believe is Feb of 2009 already, and I still haven't had my resolution posted online yet. This year is going to be a busy year with me with school, works, and more schools and traveling. Last month, I went to Paris to visit my friends as well as sightseeing the wonderful structures. The buildings in Paris are just amazing. I had to agape wherever I turned, because every corner and every edge of the streets are filled with susprises. I took so much pictures I bascially jammed the photo albums in facebook. Nevertheless, I was able to upload them all in the website.

Back to business, I now have to impose some of my resolutions that I hope I will keep for the rest of my life, or at least this year:

1. No meat, other than seafood. Only a small amount of porks when dining with friends.
2. No soda
3. No chocolate, other than dark chocolate.

Here are some of the resolutions I can think of now, hopefully I will post more when I can come up with more. May I become successful by avoding the temptation of them.

The Peak and others

Today I went to the Peak and ride on the tram for the first time since I came back to Hong Kong. I don't remember if I ever went to the Peak when I was younger, but I had a wonderful time for going there. Although the temperature was around 32C, I perfected that type of weather than raining. I took more than a hundred pictures when I was there.

School and work

School has started nearly a month. I just realized how stressful school used to be. Too much work. I can't believe lab, lab, lab, and more lab to come. Barely finished writing one report, another report is due.

大時代

Before the summer was over, I had the opportunity to finish this Hong Kong series. The English name for the series is titled The Greed Man. It is a good series and I recommend people who can understand Chinese to watch it. Although it's an old series, the show is far better than any series are currently airing in Hong Kong now. I will talk more about this series in a later blog.

I am back

It has been so long since the last time I logged in and post anything interesting. Anyway, I am back. Life is different than the last time I was here. Many things have changed. Now I am back to school for my master degree in Material Egineering and Nanotechnology. Dr. Richard just recently got married. One of my friends has moved to Tai Po, while many have left BV ( a place I am currently working for ) . If I am not busy I will continue posting message in my blog.

Classic TVB Series

Watching a classic tvb series 大時代 about stock market, it's so good. Too bad I don't really understand its concept, but started learning a lot about it.
